Pat the Daughter…

She can’t sew or knit!  She enjoys working with several mediums including polymer clay, paper, eggshell as well as creating hand dyed silk scarves.   You will find jewelry, pens, memo note pads, scarf rings & slides, and other tid bits made with the various mediums.  When she isn’t working on new creations, she may be scrapbooking or come the nice weather, you will find her in the garden.  With several flower gardens throughout the yard, there is always something to be done.

Betty the Mom…

Is a young 90 years old!  She does all the sewing and knitting.  She’s been sewing since she was a young girl and is very particular in her final projects – meaning completely finished off with no raw edges to be found.  When she isn’t sewing or knitting, you may find her doing a jigsaw puzzle or holding her cat (more about him later).

Creations take time.  It could take Betty several days to sew up a purse or knit a scarf so, check back every now and then to see the new additions.

Simba the Son…

While he is a cat, he is Betty’s son!  His job is to make sure all flows well.  He helps her choose her project and when she will work on it.  If he thinks she needs to give him attention, he will simply get in her way.

Is he spoiled?  Oh yes he is.  Most times he is considerate and will either be outside (in “his” screened in porch) watching the birds or will curl up and take a snooze.
