In 2013 we also stopped at Parrot Mountain, just next to Dollywood.

Spring of 2016....Our third musketeer came east and we traveled to the Atlanta Aquarium & Zoo and Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia. The following week took us to Parrot Mountain in Tennessee and finally  to Cherokee.

Too many photos to choose... just know we had a blast!

Riverbank Zoo, Columbia, SC

This is our favorite zoo.  We usually visit yearly where we feed the giraffes and birds.

Where we've been

As mentioned, we take “mother-daughter” trips from time to time and would like to share a few photographs with you.  Several of our trips included our “adopted daughter/sister”… you can call us the Three Musketeers.  Since she lives in California and we are in North Carolina, many times we meet in Las Vegas.  We've been to both Disneyland and Disney World, Dollywood and surrounding area attractions.

Back in 2009, we went to Disney World.  Weather was kind of like a roller coaster. Warm one day, freezing the next.

In 2014 we were back in Vegas.  This time we took a road trip to Oatman, AZ where the donkeys roam free in the town... looking for food of course!

And... right from our back deck, we have beautiful sunrises and sunsets.  If it rains in the afternoon often times, a rainbow (or double) will appear.

In 2012 we were in Vegas... celebrating a birthday at the Cheesecake Factory.  A favorite spot for photos is at the Bellagio Conservatory.

What have you noticed?  Yes, Betty favors certain blouses when she travels.... You ask WHY?   She says they are lightweight, comfortable, and the most important reason is, they don't wrinkle!  Who would want to iron while on vacation???

2013 brought us to Chattanooga to visit the Aquarium and Zoo.  Check out our zoo friend!

In 2010 we were in Pigeon Forge, TN.  A stop at Dollywood and the Dixie Stampede Show.

In 2015...A spur of the moment trip... back to Vegas.   Finally we stopped at the famous Las Vegas sign to prove we were there.  We also went to Bonnie Springs Ranch to check out the cowboys!  An Old Time Photo shop was just waiting to put us in crazy cowgirl outfits.  What a kick!
